Biography

Invested in creation, Côme works regularly with composers to commission and promote new compositions for tuba in soloist and in chamber music. His latest collaborations include composers like Demian Rudel Rey (Argentina), Alexandre Singier (France) and Eric Lebrun (France). Côme is also a member of “Duo Mesor” (tuba and flute) and the Symphonic Brass Quintet.

Passionate about the original repertoire for solo tuba, he highlights, through his recitals, pieces that are often neglected or forgotten, but which nevertheless present great interest from a musical and historical point of view. In recent years, he has focused particularly on original contemporary works from the French repertoire for tuba.

Côme received numerous master classes from renowned soloists including Roger Bobo, Daniel Schnyder, Christophe Sturzenegger, Tom Poulson and Martin Schippers among others.

In parallel, he played with several orchestras such as the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra, Orchester der Opernhaus Zürich, Zermatt Festival Orchestra, Collegium Novum Zürich as well as Orchestre de Chambre de la Drôme.

In 2025, he performed “Solissimo V” of Julien-François Zbinden in the Cathedral of Lausanne in a concert in tribute to the composer.

He studied at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste where he graduated in 2026.

Since 2024, Côme is supported by the “Fondation Safran pour la musique”.
